About Fauna

Fauna is a Brazilian sustainability consulting company. We believe that it is possible to live in urban areas or in the countryside, producing and raising in a sustainable way. We are committed to ecological, economic and social responsibilities, developing projects for both rural and urban environments. We are here to offer creative solutions for those who seek to have positive impact, conscious and responsible businesses.

Our team

Eduardo Assad is Executive Director
Graduated in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa, with Master's and PhD degrees in Water Management and Science from the University of Montpellier, France, and a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from UNICAMP. He was an Embrapa researcher for 35 years and is recognized as a pioneer in agroclimatic studies and global warming.

Alice Assad is Project Manager
Graduated in Hospitality at Centro Universitário SENAC São Paulo, Master in Hospitality at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi and specialist in Sustainable Business at UNESC. She has worked for over 10 years in the tourism and franchising sectors, and has accumulated experience in corporate sustainability and hospitality.
